The Charles Edward arrived at Westport this morning, and was to leave by the same tide for Greymouth. The Wellington left Picton for Nelson at 1-45 this afternoon. She will arrive to-night, and sail for the North to-morrow. The Glimpse still remains at the outer anchorage. The schooner Waitohai arrived from Havelock this morniDg. The Lady Barkly sailed for Golden Bay last evening. The schooner May is on the hard having her bottom scraped. the barque Ansdell is now sixteen davs out from Newcastle, so tbat she is overdue. She brings a miscellaneous cargo consigned to Mr T. Scott. Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood, and Co.'s s.s Albion, Captain J W. Clarke, came into harbor' at 11-20 last eveuing. She left the Sandridge Railway Pier at 1 1 15 a.m. on the 23rd, and arrived at Hobarton at 2 p.m. on the 25th; left at 6"30 p.m. same day, arriving at the Bluff at 5 a.m on the 30th; left same day and arrived at Port Chalmers on the Ist; left on the afternoon of the 2ud, arriving at Lyttelton at noon on Sunday- left again on Monday afternoon, and arrived at Wellington at 11 a.m. on Tuesday; left at 12.30 yesterday, cleared' the Heads at 1 p.m., came through the French Pass shortly before dusk, and arrived off the Lighthouse at 11 p.m. Strong head winds were experienced throughout. She sailed for Sydney via West Coast at 1 1 a.m. to-day.
