H. J. L. Augardc reports the sale of six acres of land, more or less, in Brook-street Valley, for £750, house, buildings, orchard, fruit, &c. Business done this day. Mr Mabin reports Lhat at the sale of Mr John Strike's iiyrniture to-day the attendance was good, and satisfactory prices ob- " tamed. The following is a list of some of the prices : — Walnut pia.no, by Stuart, £42 10s? music stool, 22s Gd; carpet, 52s 6d; 100 table, 30s; horsehair couch, £4 ,12s 6d; lady's easy chair, 52s 6d; gentleman's easy «hair, £4; horsehair chairs, 26s each; leather couch, 47s 6d; toilet set, 225-, looking glass, 245 ; horsehair single mattresses, from 27s to 30s each: bedstead, 60s; feather beds, 72s 6d and 75s each; lamps, 20s; dinner service, £4 15s; lot of white and gold china. 20s ; fowls, 5s 9d each; and a large variety of other articles at good prices.
