An Auckland telegram of Saturday I says: — An inquest was held at the I Lunatic Asylum .on the remains of Ann Burns, aged 26 years, which revealed a pitiable case. Deceased was an idiot; Her mother died, and her brother was unable to maintain her. The jiojide conveyed her to the' asylum in : the police van,, on a bundle of st<raw.
