Jkans & Co.'s Imphoved Patent Refleciob GAS COOKING STOVES. These Stoves will Roast, Bake, Boil, Toast, and Broil, as shown, equal to the op?n fire, or kitchen range, and aie most convenient aud economical, both in first cost and use, and, having no gas inside the oven, meet with general approbation. These Stoves have been put to every possible test, and have given the greatest satisfaction. Tha oven above the roaster is constructed in such a maimer that every particle of heat is m cd. The oven is made with a case or jacket, and the heat fro.n the Ilame over the roaster passes round the oven with a regular diffused heat, and the waste heat, after passing round the oven ia brought in contact with the top hot-plate, or under the : saucepans on top, so that all the heat from the gas is used. The ridges on tbe hot-piate are radiating from each bamer on the top, which causes the flame to spread over the whole of the bottoms of saucepans or kettles, and the burners are so constructed that no fat or water can drop into them— so objectionable in most gas stoves. All burners in this Stove are atmospheric. B. FIU XZTW, THE, PORT N-LjUN. U2
