The liawea crossed the Manukau bar this morning, will arrive to-morrow, and sail shortly afterwards. The Murray left Wanganui this morning, will arrive to-night, and sail for West Coast ports at 3 p.m. to-morrow. The Wallace crossed the Grey bar this morning. She will arrive to-morrow evening, und .->;ui for Blenheim on Friday. Tut; Kennedy left Greymouth for Hokitika this morning. The City of Sydney left Dunedin with the outward Sau Francisco mail to-day. She will leave Wellington on Friday, and Auckland on Monday. The Arawata will arrive from Wellington to-morrow, and sail for Melbourne via the South ou the same day. The X, Z. S. Company,s ship Howrah left GravL'scnd on July 28 for Nelson with 200 immigrants. After landing her passengers she <vill proceed to Wellington. The schooner Waitohai hauled off the hard yesterday. The brigantine Esther having finished taking in ballast, hauled alongside tlie barque Cjueeusland, and will probably take her dqnu-iure this evening, Her destination is the Pelorus Sound, where she will load up wilhtiuiber. The schooner Uno arrived this morning from Adele Island with a cargo of stone. • The cutter Maid of Italy, having finished Tjcudiug sails, proceeded to the Albion Wharf '■this morning, and will now resume her old funning, taking her departure for Kiwaka ihis evening. < -..-The ;K.M.S. City of Sydney arrived at Port .Cua'uiera- Heads last night at 11, having left (Lyttelfcon. at 9 a.m. ou the same day, thus making the run from the latter port in the iiujn-eoedentedly quick time of 14 hours .(averaging 15 knots per hour); from Auckland in 3 days 8 hours; and from Kandavau ,iv 7 days 6 hours (4 days 18 hours under contract time), and delivering the mail at Port Chalmers a day before the due date.
