Large prizes are being given at tha annual ram sale. There were several purchases made on new dealing account. Newminster is ict very bad condition, and It is. expected faat he will be scratched. This will be quite a haul for tlie bookmakers, as he has been heavily backed, especially for the double, event of the Derby (ind the Cup. Tho markets are very'active. Sugars are greatly advanced, and teas are .in good demand. New teas are nearly all cleared out. An advance has beeu established on a large ni.u.er of articles.
