Mr W«terhouse called the attention of tbe Council t> a que&tion of privi'ege. The report of the Commissioners ot the Public Oebt Sinking Fund ha ! only been laid on the table that week, whereas it was specified that ie should have been 8) laid within fourteen j days of the meetiog of Parli'raer.t. Mr Waierhouss moved that the Commissioners should be called to the bar of the Hcu*e to explain. A debate ensued, which, by the casting vote of the Speaker was adjourned till next sitting day. The Council arfj iurntd till Tuesday.
