Murray, Captain Palmer, returned from her usual trip to the West Coast last evening at 9.30. She reports leaving hfre at 8 am. on the 20th; experienced heavy S.W. winds, arriving off Weßtport at 11 a.m. the following day; discharged cargo and passengers, and left again at 9.30 a.m. for Greymouth, arriving there the following morning at 9 o'clock; discharged cargo and coaled, sailing again on Monday at noon, with a heavy portion of the San Francisco mail, arriving at Westport at 9 pm. sameoay; left Westport for Nelson at midnight, arriving as above. Experienced fine weather on the passage up Captain Palmer reports passing the schooner Lady Don, bound North, about sis mjles B.S.E. of Cape Farewell, aho Bteamer Wallabi, which was coming irom under the lee ofthe Ttita Islands, where she had taken shelter from the strong S B gale, which had been blowing for the last three days, hound for Wanganui.
