Jeans & Co.'s Improved Patent Refleotor GAS COOKING STOVES. i These Stoves will Roast, Bake, Boil Toast, aod Broil, as Bbown, equal to the op n fire, or kitchen range, and a_t most convenient aod economical, both in first cost and use, and, having no gas inside the oven, meeb with general approbation. Theße Stoves have been put to every pos.ible test, and have given the greatest s-tisfaction. The oven above the roaster is constructed in such a manner that every pnrticleof heat is v.cd. The oven is made with a case or jacket, and the heat fro-n the, flame over the roaster passes round the oven with a regular diffused heat, and the waste heat, after passing round the oved is brought in contact with the top hot-plate, or under the .saucepans on top. so that all the heat from the gas is used. The ridges on tbe hot-plate are raiiating from each burner on the top, which causss the Same to spread over the whole of the bottoms of saucepans or kettles, and the burners are co constructed that no fat or water can drop into them — so objectionable in most gas stoves. All burners' in this Stove are atmospheric. I 'B. Franzen, ' THE PORT' NELSON. ll s
