To the Editor op the 'Evening Mail.' Sir — We are told that at last we are to be relieved -from : tint unrighteous monopoly which has been so long exercised by that

very compact body of men — the butchers of Nelson, and that we are to be supplied with prime meat at very much lower pricrs than at present charged.
