The Nelson Evening Mail. SATURDAY, JUNE 3, 1876.

A vert beautiful and clearly defined lunar rainbow was visible about two o'clock this morning. With a dark back-ground of heavy clouds it showed out with remarkable distinctness. The rite of confirmation will be administered at All Saints' Chnrch tomorrow evening by his Lordship the Bishop of Nelson. ,To-moeeow being "Whit Sunday there' will be full choral services at Christ Church as follows :— Morning Prayer: Hymn, 434; Venite No. 3; Proper Psalms 48 and 68, double chants; Te Deum and Jubilate, Jackson in P.; Kyrie No. 2; Hymns 219 and 223. Evening Prayer : Hymn 434; Proper Psalms 104 and 105, single chants ; Magnificat and Nunc Ilimittie, Ebdon in C.; Anthem, "Rejoice in the Lord," Sir G.Elvey; Hymn's 221 and 566.
