"■■ A letter was read from the Cobden Committee, stating that Mr Dixoh's children were readmitted' to the Cobden school. Ri§6Tved— That this Board^fecords ■- with deep. regret the .death of ope of its member's;' the' "Isite^Principal oif Nekb f r i College, feeling that- the' -educational Bystenjf..of..the prpyince, and especially that part of it which connects the Prpvinoial Schools with, the higher educa^ tional eßtabiishmeb^ has received a most valuable stimulus from the active interest; therein displayed by the late Mr Simmons, arid from the* suggestions made by him from time to time to this Board.
