There is every probability of getting her off. CiiRtSTCHURCH, Wednesday. Thirty entries were made to-day for the Champagne Stakes for 1877, and 36 for the St Ledger, for 1878. Both lists include entries „by Redwood, Nosworthy, Bujkland, Dodson, Griffiths, &o. The salmon ova continue to look exceedingly well.
Auckland, Wednesday. Arrived— H MS. Njraph Irom I evuka. The agricultural statistics of Auckland for the year 1876 are published. The number of holdings are 4,C02 against 3,910 last year. Of land in grass there are 340,530 acres, against. 254,460 last yiar. The estimated gro « produce of grain is 65,599 bushels against 44 862. Wheat shows an increase, and oats and barley a large increase. There has also been an increase of acres under crop, showing 356,938 as against 268,657. The district of Franklin shews most prominently.
