Mr Macandrew's letter differs widely from those addressed to Sir Julius Yogel by Sir George Grey. It is terse instead of difl'use ; it is to the point instead of being maundering and irrelevant, and were it not that the cloven hoof of the demon of selfishness is so apparent in every live, it would inevitably result in the removal of Sir George Grey from the leadership of
