INTERPROVINCIAL CRICKET MATCH.
Monday. Sellon took C Cross* place, and played excellently from the moment he went in, completely mastering the bowling. He scored freely. A change of bowline, was made, and Parrington put on, but with little effect, except a maiden over. Ab a last resourca Ike Salmon was tried again, but of no avail; Sellon very soon sent one of his balls flying for a splendid four, which made tbe score 60 and a tie. The winning run was got off the next ball, at about twenty minutea past four, and Nelsin was victorious with four wick°t<! to ko down. During tbe afternoon the wnd and dust cawed considerable annoyance to the players. At about three o'clock Wellington was playing so well that. the chances were considered even. The bitting of Sellon and Coles, however, soon altered matters. The Nelson team will bs entertained at dinner at the Panama Hotel this evening, Mr Pearce, M.H.R , in the chair.
