The Bight Eeverend Bishop Redwood was a passenger by the Taupo last night, and intends to make a short stay in this part of his diocese. He will pay his first pastoral visit to St. Joseph's Church, Wakefied, on Sunday next, and in the following week will visit Takaka. Owing to his having to be back at Wellington early in the week after next, he will be unable to be present in Nelson on a Sunday. The Lynch family performed again last night to a well-filled house, and gave quite as successful an entertainment as any of its predecessors. Owing to the favorable reception they have met with in Nelson they intend appearing again to-night in the Odfellows' Uall (the Masonic Hall having been previously engaged) which will be the last opportunity the people of Nelson will have of seeing them, as they proceed to Wellington by the Taranaki to-morrow.
