Tbe Wallace leaves Hokitika for Nelson via Greymonth and Westpnrt to-day. The Arawata arrived last evening from Melbourne and South, having left Wellington at B'a.m: yesterday. Arriving at the Pass too early for the tide, a boat was lowered and a couple ot hours'fishing indulged in, when several fine schnapper were caught. She sailed for South and Melbourne, carrying the English mail, at 9 o'clock thi-> morning.
