The Charles Edward tailed for the West Coast to-day. _he Hawea left Picton this morning, will arrive this evening, and Bail for tbe norlh at 8 o'clock with the outward San Francisco mail. Tbe Wallace is detained at Hokitika by a strong fresh ir the river She will arrive htre on Monday, rivers and bars permitting. The Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim this ■ morning. The Arawata left Wellington this rooming snd will arrive by to night's tide. She sails for Wellington, South, and Melbourne to- I morrow morning, taking the outward Suez .mill.
