Mason (Wellington) 20 Blake (.4.0.) 17 Belt (Auckl-ind) 16 Burnett (Chriatchurch) .. 16 On firng off a tie, Burnett missed, and Bell made an outer. The rifle marksmen match ia finished. Goldie (Otago) 20 Frederick (<>tago) ••• ••• 15 Crossman (Nelaon) 14 Fagg (, Thames) 12 Adams (Otago) 12 In firing off tie*, Adams lost fourth place. The weather has changed, and the glass slightly fallen, but it is still high There has been a very high wind from the left rear al the morniug, and clouds of dußt. 7 p.m. The moving target match for the carbine men was finished this aiternoon. Prizes were taken by the following men:— Blake, A.C 40 Barriball, Waiuku 34 M-Credie, Wollington 32 Crowther, A C 31 A similar match lor the infantry has just concluded as follows:— ' Willcocks, Otngo 46 Harding, Oamaru ' 45 Blythe, A.C 42 Armstrong, Thames 39 Brown, Thames 39 (hurton, Wanganui ... ... 39 The weather is very threatening. The barometer has fallen three-tenths during the afternoon. Thursday, 12-SO p.m. The first range of the rifle v. carbine matches i» just finished. There was gient fun over the change of arms Tbe highest scorer was Stevens (Wellington), 22 with rifle, 22 with carbine; total 44.
