The ship Ardvar, recently arrived at Auckland from Glasgow, brought out a , flock of sheep, the like of which for high class breeding and value have never before been shipped. They have been selected and brought from Lincoln, from celebrated flocks of long-wool sheep for Mr Thomas Russell, and represent the large total of more than £2000 for about 100 sheep, some having cost over 150 guineas each.
