l.Br Rbutkr's Submarine Cable. J Lonoon, February 19. A Royal Commission has been appointed to enquire ints the condition of the slave trade at Zanzibar. In the House of Commons the Chancellor of the Exchequer introduced a motion for a loan to pay for the Suez Canal shares; alao for the payment of the debt due to the Commission. The debate was deferred uutil Monday next. Tho wool sales opened yesterday. The total anivals up to date amount to over 1 00,000 bales. Upward* of 50,000 bales were offered, of which the Cape preponderated. The attendance of boih Home and foreign buyers was large, aud the bidding commenced with great spirit, and the prices are about the same as last aeries. The Suitan has issued a decree, bringing int. operation the reforms set forth by Austrin. and offering an amnesty to all the insurgents on their returning to their obedl ence.
