Sir— -In answer to your letter of yesterday's d-ite, iv which you ask if it ii the intention of the Provincial Government to take any steps iv reference to the landing of the submarine cable at Wakapuakn, I have the honor to ttite that it is not the intention of the Prvincial Government to take any official action on the occasion relerred to.
