The Lyttelton leaves Blenheim for Wellington to-day. The Celine is discharging her cargo in excellent order. The Ino Wt Havelook, for Nelson, at one p.m. yeaterdiy. The barque. Coq du Village, bound to Newcastle, was towed to sea to-day by the Lady Barkly. _. The Charles Edward arrived from Wanganui.this morning. The Wallace leaves Hokitika for Nelson via intermediate ports to-day. The Ringarpoma arrive i at Lyttelton, from Port Chalmers, this morning. The Taranaki leaves Wellington to-day, ■will arrive to-morrow, and sail ior the North at 2 p.m. TheHawea leavea Onehunga to-day, will arrive early .on Thursday morning, and sail for Picton and South at 1 p m. carrying passengers to the Wellington regatta. The Wellington leaves here with excursionists, for Wellington direct, on Friday at 1 pm. She will remain there until Tuesday morning, thus giving those who desire to- re main for the two Jays regatta an opportunity of doing bo. Such as wish to return earlier will be brought back by the Phoebe, which leaves Wellington on Sunday morning, for Helson direct, arriving here in the evening. The as Arawata rather took Wellington "by, surprise last night, by coming up the harbor only two or three hours after the news she landed at Hokitika had been received here. The Arawata made the run from Nelson in the unprecedentedly short time of 7 hours 50 minutes, which is 10 minutes quicker Chan the Albion's 1 hitherto unequalled run of 1 hours 40 minuses, in 1872. The Albion, however, had a gale of wind in her favor, •with smoo'ti water, while the Arawata had to trust entir. ly to her steaming powers, but nevertheless did the passage in 10 minutes less time, reaching Wellington on the sixth d*y from Melbourne, a feat never before accomplished.— Post, Jan. 14.
