The Arawata arrived at Hokitika from , Melbourne this morning, and sailed from Grey mouth for Nelson at 1.15 p.m. She will leave for Melbourne and southern ports tomorrow morning at half -past 9 o'clock. The Wellington leaves Wellington for Pioton at two p.m. to-day. She will arrive to-morrow morning, and sail for the North at 7 p m. The Maori left Westport for Nelson at noon to-day, and will sail for Lyttelton tomorrow, at 8 a.in. The Taupo is expect ei to Brrlve from the North to night, and will sail for Picton tomorrow mo'-ning. The Charles Edward will arrive from West Cosßt ports on Friday morning. The Lyttetton left Kekerangu for Wellington last night with a fall cargo of wool. The Murray arrived at Westport this morning. j The San Francisco mail boats appear to "be running about in an independent sort of fashion. The Cyphrenes arrived at Auck- ! land from Kandavau yesterday afternoon, but as we have receive 1 no telegrams from the North Inland, we are without any farther information regarding her. The steamer goes first to the Sandwich Islands; then f'om Oahu to the Phoenix Islands, about 17pO miles; then to the Fijls, about 1100 miles; then to Brisbane, about 1500 miles, passing as close to the south-east end of New Caledonia as may be proper; then to Sydney; then towards North Cape, New Zealand, and finally back to Fiji. The expedition will occupy four months.
