The promoters feel certain that a large and steady trade with bo h passengers and cargo would be at once received by any Company that would prt a suitable* baat on the Bay, and that such a boat - wonld pay large dividends to the owners,, and prove an extremely profitable nndertaking. The public will also derive great beneflt by being able to go to Nelson and back the same day. Tbe p- omotera therefore call upon the settlers ia theie districts, to take shares in the proposed Company, in order to participate in the above and other advantages th it are certain to accrue from the parcbass of a steamer, to be devoted to their interests. They therefore hore that ever-/ settler will take a few shares, and early application is necessary, in order to prevent the control of the Company's affairs falling into the hands of a few.
