Solicitors : Messrs .3dams and Kingdon.' Interim Secretary ; Mr. J. S. Eoklsten. Temporary Ojjices : Mb. J. S. Bdeisten's Ofwcb, Motueka. Tbe importance of establishing efficient steam communication between the producing di triets of Blind Bay and the markets of the colony has been long felt The objects of this Company are to purchase a suitable steamer to trade between Motueka, Moutere, Kiwaka, Waitapu, CoUingwood. Nelson, and other places in the Bay. The trade with these ports is large, and increaatrg daily, and the present means of communic ition are inadequate for the requirements of the inhabitants of these numerous districts. The timber trade alone has lately arsimed an important position, and will continue to do so. The promoters feel certain that a large and steady trade with bo h passengers and cargo would be at once received by any Company thnt would put a suitable b3«t on the Bay, and that such a boat wou'd pay large dividends to the owners, and prore an extremely profitable undertaking. The public will ako derive great benefit by being able to go to Nelson aid back the same dny. The ptomoters therefore call upon the settlers ia these districts to take shares in the proposed Company, iu order to participate in the above and other advantnges thit are certain to accrue from ths purchase of a steamer, to be devoted to their interests. They therefore ho^e that every f ettler will take a few shares, and early application is necessary, in order to. prevent the control of the Company's affairs falling into the hands of a Tew. Applications for Shares ara to be sent either to the Secretary, at Motueka, or the Union Bank of Australia, Nelson, where the necessary forms can be obtained. The Share List will close on the Fifteenth of October next. ' Motueka, August 19, 1875. JA.S&
