The Nelson Evening Mail. SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 1875.
On the motion of Mr Shephard, it was resolved on Wednesday night, that the correspondence relative to the construction by a Company of a railway from Nelson to the West Coast should be printed. The English telegrams per Albion, which appear elsewhere, should have reached us in time for yesterday's issue, as they were put into the Bluff office addressed to the Mail at 125 p.m. but were not forwarded to Nelson until late at night, the last sheet being finished at 11 o'clock. To what the delay is to be attributed we are unable ■ to say, but it is only fair to say that it did not occur in the Nelson office.
