TO STAND THIS SEASON the Thorough-bred Entire Horse, NIMROD, Three years old this foaling. Stands fifteen h nds high'; possesses great power and substance, with good mujculir shoulders, immense back and loins, and gr.at propelling power ; altogether, he is one of tbe nicest Colts ever bred in the Province, and, having beautiful action himself nnd splendid temper, must, as a sire, distinguish hioaselt as a Hackney Carriage Horse and Steeplechase sire according to the style of Mare put to him. As will be seeo, by his pedigree, he possesses > some of the best blood in the colony — " Nimrod, by Young Towton, out of Magic, by St. Aubyn, grsnddara Medora by Glendower (an* Arab of very high caste imported to Australia to breed from for the Indian Government), great grauddam a thoroughbred mare imparted to Australia by Ciptain Bi.rry (who bred for the Indian Government), Young Towton by Towton or Totentat^outof Stockirgs by Waverly, by St. George out of Splendora (imported).— See " Stud Book." Ia color and appearance Nimrod greatly resembles hia grandsire St. Aubyn. He will call at Newton's, Nelson, and Black Horse, Wakapuaka, on Mondays; Richmond on Tuesdays; Wakefield Arms, calling at Bridge Hotel, Wednesdays; Hope on Thursdays; Moutere on Fridays; Palmer's, Waimea West, Saturdays.
