Temporary Offices : Mb. J. S. Ed system's Office, Motubki. The importance of establishing efficient steam communicaiioa between the producing districts of Blind Bay and the markets of the colony bus been long felt The objects of thU Company pro to purchase a suitable j steamer to tr.ide between Motueka, Moutere, Riwaka, Waitapu, Collingwo^d. Nelson, and ' other p'.aces in the Bay. The trade with ! tlusa ports is large, and increasing daily, and the present menus of communication are inadequate for the requirements of the inhabitants of these numerous districts. The timber trade alone lias lately acs imed an important position, and will continue to do 1 so. The promoters feel certain that a l»rgc and steady trade with bo h pauaeugera and cargo would be at once received by any Company that would put a suitable bait on the Bay, and that such a boat would pay large dividends to the owners, and prove an extremely profitable undertaking. The public will also derive great benefit by being able to go to Kelson and back the same day. Tbe promoters therefore call upon the settlers in these districts to take shares in the proposed Company, in order to participate in the above and other advantages thit are certain to accrue irom the purchase of a steamer, to be devoted to their interests. They therefore hope that every cettler will take a few shares, and early application is necessary, in order to prevent the control pf the Company's affairs falling into the hands of a few. Applications for Shares are to be gent either to the Secretary, at Motueka, or the Union Bank of Australia, Nelson, where the necessary forms can be obtained. The Share List will cloee on the Fifteenth of October next. Motueka, August 19, 1875. 2256 THE NEW ZEALAND WESLEYAN, for AUGUST, Price 6d.— Post Free. R.
