The Hawea left Wellington for Picton early this morning, ran across labour -.hours five minutes, and sailed lor Nelson at 11 a.m. She will arrive this evening, aud sail lor the Korih to monoir night. The Welliugton has been hard at. work foi the last week, fche left here lor Manukai th:s day week, returned on Sunday, and im mediately started southward, and, atte delivering the mails at the various inter mediate ports of Picton, Welliugton, anc Lyttelton, arrived at Uunedia this morning. Sue is auvtrtieed to sail ior Pictou and South ab 10 a m. to-morrow. / The British ship Niagara, which arrived at New York recently, had her whole cargo (salt) condemned on account of some broken packages of arsenic, alao on ircight, getting loose m the hold.
