A Nelson correspondent of the Westport Times gives the following advice: — " If any of your readers should think of visiting Nelson, for their own safety I would recommend the following precautions. Don't get tipsy, if you are inclined that way, till you get up to town, don't travel the Haven Road drunk or sober in the dark, and insure your life before starting." "Gr. J.S. " advertises in a London journnl that he " is about returning to New Zealand, and would take charge of a few young gentlemen as ' farm cadets.' "
