Tho Murray sai ed for the West Coast with the Jr-an Franciico mail shorily after the arrival of the Phceb3 yesterday. Tho Pbcebe, with the San Francisco mail, arrived early yesterday morning, and sailed again for tho Fouth nt three p.m. She reports having spoken the Mary Webster inside the Manukau Heads. The schooner had met with bad weather, and lest the whole cargo of sheep she was taking from Taranaki. The paddle steamer Chirles Edward, Capt* Wbitwell, from West Coast ports, arrived alongside the Albion Wharf on Saturday afternoon. Sho lefc Kehon on Eridny, 21st iast , at 1 p.m., arriving tit Wcstpnrc at 9 a.m. next day; lefc Westpo t at midnight, arriving at Hokitiki at 9 a.m.; left Hckitika on tho 25th at 1 1*30 n.m., with strong northeast wiud and heavy rain, arriving at Greymouth B«ma fde; left Grtyrnouth at 2 - 30 a.m. on the 23th. arriving at Westport at 11 a.m.; left We3tporb at 33J pm., arriving here as above.
