The attention of Exezutors, Administrators, Legatee?, snd Successors, is calle 1 to the provisions of The Si amp Duties Act, 1866, which require : — 1. That Execu crs aid Administrators thall, in the cisc of all legacies, annuities, or residues paid by them, furnish to the Ftamp Offce full accounts of such payments, and shall pay the duty assessed ihereon within sixty days thereafter ; and in the cse of legacies, annuit'es, or residues retained in tnißt, shall bafore any such retainer furnish to tbe Commissioners full particulars thereof, and shall pay the duty asses^d ihereon within fourieen days of such assessment; and shall fur. ish accounts of all fucces:ions under any will or ettate executed or administered by them, so scon as the successor shall become benefk-hlly entitled thereto. 2. That Legatees receiving legacies shall give receipts in the p 1 escribed form, which receipts must bear date on the day of signing, and must be brought to the Stimp Office to be stamped within eixfy days thereafter, otherwise such receipts become invalid S.
