She left here at sr3ft a.m on the 4th. rounded Spit I End at 8 p.m.. and arrived at Westpoit at 6*30 a.m. on the sth; sailed for Hokitiki at 10pm, passed Greynvuth at C a m. ou the t>th, arriving at 9 a tn. ; sailed for Greym-'Utn at B*3o a.m. on the 7th, and arriving «t 1115 a,m. same d»y; nailed for Wes'p;>rt at 11 30 p.tn , arrived oflE" there at 6 sun. on tbe 6th, and cro'Bsd the bar at 7 SO a.m ; sailed again at 1130 a.m. same day, passed Rock Po nt at 7 p.m. ; encountered heavy S.Easter off West Wanganui, which caused her to t«ke . shelter under Cape Farewell for 6even hours; ; rounded Spit End at 11 a.m., arriving here as ab)Ve.
