San ITrancisco, Feb. 7. Tremendous fall in Californian mining stocks, unduly inflated. A find occurred, and thousands rushed, including many women who had mortgaged ti.eir homesteads in order to visit the mines. Heart-rend mg scenes occurred in up-country cit es as telegran,s announcing the fa'l were received. An armed mob attacked the Protestant Church in the City of Mexico. The minister escaped aboard an American man-of-war. The commandant of the castle charged a n.ob, and four Mexicans and one Ameiican were killed. De Lcsseps writ s favoring the Inter-occan Cannl by the Nicaragua route. Beecher's case is continu ng at gnat length in the American Courts, and is not concluded. The magnificent steamship Payta, 2000 tons rfgißttr, has been wrecked, striking sunken rocks in Manata Ilarb.r. All the passengers were saved.
