Government Notices. NEW ZEALAND TELEGRAPHS! SECTION I. rriENDERS are invited for the SUPPLY X and DELIVERY of Eight Hundred (800) TELEGRAPH -POSTS, more or lesp, between Richmond nnd the Junction of the Buller and Top House Roads; and for the Delivery of about Sixteen (16) Tons of Wire and other Telegraph Material. The general course of the line will be along the Railway line from Richmond to Fox-hill, and near the road by Fogden's, through the Big Bush to junction of the Bu'ler and Top House roads. Poles to be fawn from the heart of Totara, to be perfectly sound, straight, and free from sap, shake, loose knots, or any other de'ect. The greater number of the Poles to be each Twenty (20) feit long, the remainder to be each Twenty-five (25) feet long, all to be Eight inches square at the butt, and Six (6) inches square at the top end. Poles to be delivered along the line at pegs, following the general course above indicated. The wire and other material to be taken from Nelson, and to be delivered at pegs, according to a list that will be lurnished to the contractor The above works to be completed by the 31st day of July, 1875. Tenders to siate price per pole of each kind, and price per cwt fordelivery of material, and to be accompanied by a deposit equal to SO per cent of the value of the tenuer, which sum will be held as security f>r the due performance of the work within the stipulated time, or Avi 1 be forfeited should any contractor refuse to take up his con'ract.
