Government NoticesNEW ZEALAND TELEGRAPHS. HPENDERS are invited for the DELIVERY L of Eight Hundred (F00) TELEGRAPH POLES, and about Sixteen Ql6) Tons of Wire and other Telegraph Material between Richmond and the junction of the Buller and Tcp House toads. The general course of the line will be along the railway line from Richmond to Foxhill, and near the road to Fogden's, and through the Big Bueh to the junction of the Buller and Top House roads. The greater number of the poles will be each Twenly (20) feet long, and the remainder will be each Twenty-five (25) feet long. All poles and mateiial will be handed over to the contractor in Nelson, and will have to be delivered along the line at pegs according to a list that will be furnished 1o him. The above works to be completed by the 31st day of July, 1875. Tenders to state price per pole of each kind, and price per cwt. for delivery of material, and to be accompanied by a deposit equal to twenty per cent of the value of the tender, which sum will be htld in security for the due performance rf the work within the stipulated time, or will be forfeited should any contractor reluse to take up his contract. Dr. Lowe, Medical Missionary in India, report* (December, 18ti5) : — " That in nearly every caee of t holera iti which Dr. J. Collis BroWine'b Chlorodyne was administered, the patiunt iccovered." Extract from the Medical Times, January 12, 186(5 :—" Chlorodyne is prescribed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course it would not thus be singularly popular, did it not ' supply a want and fill a place.' " Extract from the General Board of Henlth, London, as to its efficacy in Cholera : — "So strongly convinced aie we cf the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too forcibly urge the necessity of aiopting it in all cases." Beware of spurious and dangerous compounds sold as " Chlorodyne," from which freqmnt fatal results have followed. See leading art cle, Pharmaceutical Journal, Ist August, 1P69, which states that Dr. J. Collis Browne was the Inventor of Chlokodyne ; that it is always r-ght to use his preparation when Chlorodyne is ordered. CAUTION.— None genuine without the words, " Dh. J.
