Reports leaving Nel>on for West Coast on Sunday, 21st ultimo, at 10 s.m., with light N.E. wind till rounding Cape Farewell, when'she experienced a light S.W. brsezq, arriving at Westport at 9-80 a.m. onMond.jr. Left Westport at 11*30 p.m. same day with S.W. wind, aniving at Hokitika next morning at 1 0 o'clock ; was detained in Hokitika by Northerly gale and fresh till Thurs ay at 1 1 a ra , arriving at Greymouth at I*3o p.m. same day; left Greymouth at 3ptn, on Friday;? arriving here a* above. The steamer Charles Edward arrived here on Sunday at 915 a.m. from the West Coast. Reports leaving Nelson at 4 p.m. on the 23rd u'timo, wind blowing hard from the N.W , with heavy sea running; rounded Spit End at 11 p.m.; passed the steamer St Kilda bound North, arriving at the Karamea at 11 a.m. on the following: day. Landed passengers an i cargo, and sailed for Greymouth at midnight, wind 'strong from S.W, arriving there at 11 20 a.m. on the 25th; discharged cargo, and took in 51 tons ca', sailing for Westport at 1 a.m. on tbe 26th, arriving there at 9 a.m. fame day; left again for Karamea at 530 a.m. on the 27th, arriving there at 12 30 p m.; landed pufsengers, and sailed for Ne'son at 2*15 p.m. same day; passed p.s. WalUce off Bock's Point, rounded the Sandspit at thrie o'clock yesterday tno ning, arriving as ahove.
