London, Januiry 6. Another coUiery explosion has occurred near Rother ham, causing the loss of seven lives. Paris, January 6. The grand Opera house iv Paris was • pened yesterday. The Lord Mayor of London, with the Sheriff in tbe English state caniagc, and wearing the robes of office, have been received with the greatest honors by MacmahoD, at the Palace Ely see. January 1. In a message, Macmahon asked the Assembly to vote the first and second Chambers Bill. The Assembly, after a discussion, rejected the proposal by a majority o f 420 against 2SO. The Ministry will resign.
