Captain Lloyd, who was promoted from being chief officer of the Phoebe to the command of the Bangatiraas successor to the late Captain Hepburn, now will be commander of the Taranaki. He will be succeeded in the Bangatira by Captain Griffiths, at present master of the Manawatu, and to the command of that steamer Captain Evans, chief officer of the Taranaki, will be promoted.—Post,
