NELSON HARBOR WORKS LOAN. SEALED TFNDERS will be received at the Superintendent's Office, Ne.'son, up to Four o'clock p.m on the 3 1st day of DECEMBER next, from PERSONS willing tJ ADVANCE and LEND to the ScferinTENDESI Of the PB'VINCE of NELBON an AMOUNT not exceeding £27.000, upon security of a mortgage of the Land mentioned in the Schedule hereto. PARTICULARS. It is proposed to expend tha money to be borrowed in the construction of a Wharf and Dry Dock, and Reclaiming Land in the Nelson Harbor, which works *ill form part of the security. The repayment of all moneys advanced will be secured by a Deed of Mortgage of the Land mentioned in the schedule, executed and given according to the pioYiaions of the "loin Act, 1874." The Mortgage wiU le for a Term of Twenty Years from the date thereof. Such Deed wL'l contain, amongst the other umal provitioi s in Mortgage Deeis stipulations to the following effect: — (4.) That in the event of the General Government of New Zealand or the Provincial Government of Nelson requiring to take or use aoy portion of the land comprised in such ee.urity for Railway purpoaea, they shall be at literty to take and use the same therefore withmt the consent of tbe Mortgagee being nectßmry to be obtained, acd without the Mortgagee thereof being entitled to aDy payir : ent or compensation in respect thereof. (2.) Ihe Mortgagor shall not be bound to iasure any buiiciogs or erections on the said security. (3.) The oterest to be payable half-yearly at Nelson. (4 ) The Superintendent to be at liberty Jrom time to time (o grant any lense or Icaies of the said land or any part thereof without the consent of the Mortgagee, and soch leases to be as valid as if such mortgage had not been executed.
