Basque Atb, — The barque Ayr, Captain Good, from Mauritius, arrived off the Lighthouse on Sunday afternoon, and was towed into harbor by the Lady Barkly the game tide. Keporti leaving Mauritius on Nov. 6. Experienced fine weather w.th fresh breezes as far down as 140 degs. East. Had light Easterly winds until the 12th December, when tbo encountered a very heavy pule, commmcing at E and veering roun ' to S.W., the barometer standing at 29*10; hove the vessel to for 20 hours. From thence had light win^s from S.E , sighting Cape Farewell on December 17, arriving as above. She brings a cargo of rugar, consigned to Messrs N. Edwards and Co. Babquk Corrido. — The barque Corrido, Captain Laraoot, from Newcastle, arrived off the Lighthouse on Sunday, and was towed into harbor by the Lady Barkly in the afternoon. Reports leaving Newcastle on December 9; bad fresh N/W. winds until ■within 100 miles of the land; thence had fresh winds from the East, sighting Cape Farewell on the 1 7th, 8 days out. Since tlitn lad baffling head wiods with cilms, arriving as above. Sighted a barque on the 16th bouud West She brings a cargo of 346 tons coal and 2000 feet timber, consigned to ' Messrs N. Edwards and Co.
