Nelson College.— The distribution of prizes took place to-day, in the presence of a large assemblage of the parents and friends of (he pupils. A full report of the proceedings will appear in our next. The annual sports will be held in the College grounds to-morrow afternoon, commencing at one o'clock. The CifiCCS.— Notwithstanding the Bhort notice of the arrival of the circus' troupe there was a capital attendance last night. The horsemanship generally was very good, but the performances of Mdlle. Grade, " the lady with the irou teeth," were really wonderful, and the acrobatic feats of Senor Gonzaies were most cleverly performed.' The light beirj£ necessarily somewhat dim, the proprietors have gone -to the expenee of lay ing on the gasj, so that on future occasions the pavilion wijjjfe brilliantly illuminated. To-nightamong the other interesting performances wili be included Dick Turpin's ride to York. The entertainment generally is well worth a visit, aod a crowded audience will probably assemble to-night.
