The Chief a assented, but stipulated for per. mission to retain their actual slaves if kinaly treated. The steamer La Plata, with the South American cable, foundered off Ushant. It is feared that sixty persons perished The Benchers of Gray's Inn have unanimously debarred Dr Kenealy for his conduct in the Tichborne case.
