Thubsday, Noysmbbr 13. , ThQ fourth aassionwaa bold on last Thursday afternoon, and was fully occupied in considering the recommendations of the Sunday School Union Committee appointed by the last Conference. /• • > .- : Fbiday, November 13 - < On Friday, after devotional exercises', -the^Thursday^afternoon'a business was resumed md concluded, except that the adopting of certain resolutions was left to a later session. The report of the committee appointed by the last Conference to consider the question of re-arrangement of the mission funds, and the appropriation of the proceeds of conoexional properties other than those belonging to circuits, was laid before the meeting for consideration, and occupied the- remainder oi the morning. In the afternoon the various connexiooa! schedules were; preparedin part for the financial meeting to be held on the 17tb, The meeting regretted the possibility of the West Coast ministers not being present at any session, as the steamer Kennedy was reported to have gone ashore. Adjournment was then made till the following Tuesday. Tuesday, November 17. The seventh session commenced by singing the 327 th hymn, reading Ist chap, of Titu% and prayer being offered by Mr Simmonde. The minutes of the lust session wore read and confirmed. It was deemed advisable to put off the financial meeting to Thursday, in the hope that the West Coast ministers would then he present. The Children's Fund, in connection with certain suggestions thereon from the General Treasurer, was then fully considered, and sundry reenmtrendalions made for the coming Conference. The afternoon was fully occupied with the question, "Can any measure be adopted for the promotion of the work of God in this district ? " and a resolution passed in reference to the fame. Wednesdat, November 18. The day's business wns to complete the examinations of both probationer and candidate, which resulted in satisfactory recommendations to the Conference in each case.
