November 12, The correspondence relative to Fiji is published, and ahowa that Lord Carnarvon made a proposition that four of the Australian Oolonifes, namely, New South Wales, Vicoria, South Australh, and New Zealand, should contribute £4000' annually towards the cost of gov» ruing Fiji. : The Assembly, by a majority of three, rej-cted the motion to grant the late Chief Justice a gratuity of £700.
