It is proposed to expend tho money to be borrowed in the construction of a Wharf and Dry Dock, and Reclaiming Land in the Nelson Harbor, which works will form part of theiecurity. The repayment of all moneys advanced will be secured by a Deed of Mortgage of the Land mentioned in the schedule, executed and given according to the provisions ofthe "Loan Act, 1874." The Mortgage will he for a Term of Twenty Years from the date thereof. Portions of the land to be included in the security are at present leased for various terms of years, the rentals now received from the lessees thereof amounting to .£IOSO per annnm, and the rentals increasing for subsequent portions of the terms of tf c lease.
