SHEEP SHOW.
That these shows are becoming more and more popular was evidenced by the large attendance at Richmond on, Wednesday last, when a far greater number were present than had ever r been attracted by a similar show. And besides the additional interest taken by ■ tbe people, it was o pleasure to observe that there was a marked improvement 7 in the quality of the stock exhibited. Thirty-nine rams io all were shown, and among tbem were soma of the* purest breeding, so tbat in tbe course pf time, we may hope t. see some really ere litabla flocks of sheep on the farms in the Waimeas. The show was, on the Whole, a complete success and tbisj was perhaps contributed to in some degree by the Waimea West Brass Band, ° which waa in attendance during' the. day, and played several airs with con* siderable skill .
