Ram Show.— The annual show of rams, under the auspices of the Agricultural Association, will be held at Richmond to-morrow. The ground will be open to the public at noon. Aetizanß' Picnic. —On Monday next, tbe Prince of Wales' birth-day, the Artizans' Association intend giving a picnic in Mr Richardson's paddock in tbe Maitai Valley. There will be sports of various kinds, and the Artillery band will be in attendance, Australian Steamers. — The next boat from Melbourne will be the Otago at the Bluff about the Bth or 9th inst., this being her appointed day for sailing. The Tararua is to leave for Hokitika on tbe 12th inst. Those who are interested in the race for the Melbourne Cup, which is to be run on Thursday, will thus have to wait a long time before learning tbe result. Madame Goddard. — One of the greatest musical treats ever offered to the public of Nelson, will be available to them to-night, when Madame Arabella Goddard will give her first concert in New Zealand. She is accompanied by a very effective little company, and the concert is sure to be a great success. Good Hope Lodge, 1.0.G.T.— -At a meeting of this lodge, held at Spring Grove yesterday evening, tbe following oflicers were installed by Brother W. Hildreth, Lodge Deputy :— W.C.T., J. S. Bryant; W.V.T., R. Cresswellj W.S., C. L. Mason; W.C, J. Duncan; WF.S., E. Lewis; W.T., W. Forster; W.M., Walter Forster; W.I.G , P. Higgins; W.0.G., E. Newth; W.D.M., S. Sharp; W.R H.S., Sister A. J. Dron; W.L.H.S., Sisler C. Maule; W.A.S , Sister H. Higgins; P.W.C.T., Bro. J. Robertson. Bro. Robertson was recommended as Deputy Provisional Grand Worthy Chief Templar.
