With to-day's issue is published a supplement containing the correspondence between the Provincial Government and Mr George Hodgson, relative to tbe removal of tbat gentleman from the service in which he has been eraployed for the last fourteen years. We promised on Saturday that the correspondence would be found both interesting and instructive, and doubt not tbat, after its perusal, it will be allowed on all sides tbat the promise has been fully redeemed. We have no desire to bias the public mind with reference to tbe couree pursued by the Executive in tbis matter, and shall therefore refrain for a day or two from making any comments upon it.
